First, the recording application must be capable of and set to transmit MIDI clock signal. Second, if you choose the MX-USB MIDI port you will not have access to the VST control simultaneously. Using both MIDI sync and VST control of the MX-200 simultaneously will require an additional MIDI output port on your computer.
