If Pro Tools is installed when you do this, and then you uninstall and reinstall Pro Tools, Pro Tools will take an extremely long time to launch (it is seemingly hung on &#8220;Creating DAE Objects&#8221;). If you uninstall and reinstall Pro Tools again, Pro Tools will hang on launch on either &#8220;Initializing Databases&#8221; or &#8220;Creating DAE.&#8221; It remains hung, and you cannot quit (not even force quit). If you try to shutdown the machine, Windows will hang while logging off.
