Turn off your Firewire device then do this:
\nStep one:
\nRight mouse click on the “my computer” Icon<\/p>\n

Step two:
\nChoose “manage” from the drop down list<\/p>\n

Step three:
\nIn the “Computer Management” Window choose “Device Manager”<\/p>\n

Step four:
\nOn the right – hand side of the window. Look for the entry “IEEE 1394 Bus host controllers”<\/p>\n

Step five:
\nClick on the “+” sign to the left of the IEEE 1394 Bus host controllers entry<\/p>\n

Step six:<\/p>\n

Select ( left click on:) ‘ Texas Instruments OHCI compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller to select it<\/p>\n

Step Seven:<\/p>\n

Right mouse click on it and choose “Uninstall”<\/p>\n

Step Eight:<\/p>\n

You will get the “Confirm Device Removal” box…. Hit the “OK” button<\/p>\n

Step Nine:<\/p>\n

Restart your computer…<\/p>\n
