There are two ways to fix this:<\/p>\n<p>Solution 1<\/p>\n<p>1. Uninstall GigaStudio3 if you have it installed.<br \/>2. Make sure your RME midi is working (may have to<br \/>reinstall the driver).<br \/>3. Start Menu>Run> type &#8220;regedit&#8221;<br \/>4. Go to  \\\\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows NT\\Drivers32\\<br \/>5. On the right side find the entry &#8220;Midi&#8221;<br \/>6. Right mouse click in the word  Midi and Choose &#8220;Rename&#8221;<br \/>7. change the name to &#8220;Midi1&#8221;<br \/> (this should have the value hdspmme.dll).<br \/>8. Quit the Registry<br \/>9. Now  re: install GS3.<\/p>\n<p>Solution 2<\/p>\n<p>1. Make sure to download the latest patch for Gigastudio and your soundcard drivers (chances are your CD is a few versions outdated, this is typical)<br \/>2. Uninstall Gigastudio in Control Panel &#8211; Add\/Remove Programs<br \/>3. Uninstall your audio card<br \/>4. Reboot your machine<br \/>5. Reinstall your audio card&#8217;s drivers<br \/>6. Follow the Registry modification below<br \/>7. Re-install Gigastudio<br \/>8.
