The current line of Ceation Station Towers (LE and Plus) also have Hyprthreading enabled.  However, hyperthreading is now supported by most systems. In those cases you&#8217;ll want to disable hyperthreading. Only older version of software (e.g., Pro Tools 6.x) have issues with Hyperthreading.  Also, if you have software which doesn&#8217;t seem to be running properly, you might try disabling Hyperthreading to see if this is the reason.<\/p>\n<p>* Please note that any Creation Station Dual-Core do NOT have Hyperthreading, and thus you need not worry about disabling it.<\/p>\n<p>* If we installed Pro Tools as a turn-key system, you do not need to worry about this, we&#8217;ve disabled Hyperthreading already.<\/p>\n<p>To disable Intel&#8217;s Hyperthreading Technology on your Creation Station:<\/p>\n<p>1. Restart your computer (or turn it on)<br \/>2. When you see the first boot-up screen (American Megatrends) with your hard drive list, memory, etc., press the DEL button on your keyboard several times. You will have a short opportunity to press this key, so locate it before you get to this screen<br \/>3. You will enter the BIOS SETUP UTILITY<br \/>4. Use the cursor keys to go to Advanced, press ENTER<br \/>5. Cursor down to CPU Configuration, press ENTER<br \/>6. Cursor down to Hyper Threading Technology<br \/>7. Press the + or &#8211; key to change it to Disabled<br \/>8. Press F10 &#8211; you will be asked to Save and Exit.  Press Enter to do so.<br \/>9.
