1. Press Record on the sequence. You’ll hear the metronome.<\/p>\n

2. The display where the meter was turns to ****, touch that on the display to select it.<\/p>\n

3. Turn the dial to change the meter.<\/p>\n

4. Press Play.<\/p>\n

5. When the metronome is counting in, move the joystick back and forth once. (to give it some data to record, but before the sequence gets to the recording area)<\/p>\n

6. Let the song play out a little past the end.<\/p>\n

* This is because if you’ve already recorded a sequence with the default 4\/4 time signature, if you pressed stop in the middle of the song, at that point the meter would change back to the default 4\/4. Running the recording through the entire song ensures that the new time signature is written to all measures of the song.<\/p>\n

You could use this to change time signatures in the middle of a sequence if desired, by starting and ending on certain measures.<\/p>\n
