If you have enabled the onboard Sound Max audio on your Creation Station and find that it needs to be disabled again, the following steps will help you.<\/p>\n
Restart the computer
When the system restarts, start pressing the delete key to get into BIOS. (BIOS is a blue and white interface that allows you to change attributes of the computer)<\/p>\n
Once in BIOS, arrow right to the Advanced Page and arrow down to Onboard Devices. Press enter on the highlighted Onboard Devices to open the menu.<\/p>\n
You will see the Audio Card “AC’97” listed as the topmost item.<\/p>\n
Highlight it and press enter. this will give you two things to select from. Either Auto or disable.<\/p>\n
To turn it off, select Disbale by arrowing down to highlight it and by pressing enter.<\/p>\n
Now you may press escape to exit this menu.<\/p>\n
Arrow over to exit and press enter. Press enter again to save and exit.<\/p>\n
Your system will now restart and the onboard audio will no longer be enabled.<\/p>\n
