Connecting the iMic:
– Connect the iMic directly to a USB port on your Mac.<\/p>\n
– Connect your source device to the iMic’s input jack (the input jack is identified by an icon of a microphone; the iMic’s output jack has an icon of a speaker).<\/p>\n
– Set the iMic’s switch to the correct position (towards the microphone icon for line level devices; towards the speaker icon for mic level devices).<\/p>\n

– Click the Real Instrument tab, then select Basic Track > No Effects (alternately, select the type of instrument you want to record as well as whatever effects are available).<\/p>\n
