The problem occurs when sending data digitally to the TASCAM machine through the TDIF interface card in the mixer. The DA-88 expects its digital data formatted in a slightly different way than the DA-38 or DA-98. There is a switch on the interface card (CD8-TDII) for the mixer that will make it work with either machine.
