{"id":25931,"date":"2003-05-05T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2003-05-05T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/sweetcare\/?p=25931"},"modified":"2007-04-27T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2007-04-27T00:00:00","slug":"set-up-o1v96-control-surface-logic","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/sweetcare\/articles\/set-up-o1v96-control-surface-logic\/","title":{"rendered":"How do I set up an O1V96 as a control surface in LOGIC?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>1) Make sure you are connected with the computer either using a MIDI interface with  bi-directional midi connections, or the USB connector built into the unit (DM2000, O2R96)<br \/>2) If using OMS, please make sure that you have configured OMS to include the USB driver for the unit.<\/p>\n<p>In Logic:<br \/>1) go to OPTIONS > CONTROL SURFACES > INSTALL<br \/>2) Select O1V96 Port 1 in the Install window, Choose ADD, then choose Port 1 of the 02R96&#8217;s USB MIDI driver for the MIDI in and Out ports in the Setup window.<br \/>3) Select O1V96 Port 2 in the Install window, Choose ADD,<br \/>then choose Port 2 of the O2R96&#8217;s USB MIDI driver for the MIDI In and Out ports in the setup window.<\/p>\n<p>At O1V96:<br \/>1) Press DISPLAY ACCESS (setup), then F4(below the LCD).
