It only occurs on DRIVES larger than approximately 9 gigs. Partition size has no bearing on this bug, if the drive is larger than 9 gigs, a new file will be created with destructive record after the 3 minute file length is reached.Setting &#8216;limit record allocation&#8221; to a smallish value in the preferences allows Pro Tools to continue creating the same file. This is only an option for those running PT 5.0 or higher.
