The unsupported sample rate error comes up under the following conditions: when a clip has a sample rate other than 44.1kHz or 48kHz. Note that in both Pro Tools and Film Composer (and AudioVision 4.0) the case of pulldown is handled by the system, and all audio files are still either 44.1kHz or 48kHz. This eases the switching between 1.0 and .999However, if you are in a video project in Media Composer, (as opposed to Film Composer or a Film Project in the top of the line Media Composer) when you move the pulldown switch to x0.99, it will mark the sample rate of any audio recorded that way as 44.056kHzNote that from above, this means that any mismatched clips in the sequence in Media Composer will not get played if they do not match the current system state of Media Composer. Film Composer and Film Projects allow you to go seamlessly between 1.0 and 0.999Another possible, though unlikely, occurance is what if exactly one half the audio clips are 44.1kHz and the other half are 48kHz? Which sample rate should the session be?
