Current Digidesign systems do not support the &#8220;emphasis&#8221; option, so the audio will sound brighter in SDII, Pro Tools, etc.  The workarounds would be:1) Do an analog transfer from DAT to Mac.2) Do a digital transfer (knowing that the audio will be brighter while editing), then use a digi interface that can enable emphasis (the DAT I\/O had a front panel switch to enable\/disable emphasis in the outgoing digital stream).
