This includes MIDI, peripheral, and mixer settings. Once these changes have been made, your Raven is all set to use! Choose your DAW from the list below to get started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#fff5c7\"><strong>IMPORTANT! <\/strong>If you haven&#8217;t registered or activated your Raven licenses yet, keep this tab open and visit our <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/sweetcare\/articles\/raven-mti-max-setup-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Raven MTi MAX Setup Guide<\/a><\/strong> to get up and running.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"#Pro-Tools\"><strong>Pro Tools<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"#Cubase\"><strong>Cubase<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"#Fender-Studio-Pro-Studio-One\"><strong>Fender Studio Pro (Studio One)<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"#Ableton\">Ableton<\/a><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"Pro-Tools\">Pro Tools<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>Launch Pro Tools.<\/li><li>Go to <strong>Setup<\/strong>, navigate to <strong>MIDI<\/strong>, and then select <strong>MIDI Input Devices&#8230;.<\/strong><\/li><li>Check the <strong>FromSlateMIDI<\/strong>, and <strong>Raven 1, 2, 3,<\/strong> and <strong>4<\/strong> boxes.<ul><li>If you own an MTi2 or MTi legacy, select <strong>FromSlateMIDI <\/strong>and <strong>Raven 1, 2, and 3<\/strong>.<\/li><li>If <strong>Slate Internal MIDI <\/strong>is listed as well, make sure both <strong>IN <\/strong>and <strong>OUT<\/strong> are checked.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Go to <strong>Setup<\/strong>, select <strong>Peripherals<\/strong>, and tap <strong>MIDI Controllers<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Set all four ports to HUI and set the <em>Receive From <\/em>and <em>Send To <\/em>to their respective ports. For example, set port 1\u2019s <em>Receive From<\/em> and<em> Send To<\/em> to RAVEN 1.<ul><li>Windows PC users must go through <a href=\"#Additional-PC-Configuration\">additional configuration<\/a>. Review our instructions below before moving to the final step.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Open the Raven Dashboard, locate Pro Tools, and press <strong>Launch<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3>Additional PC Configuration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After updating the MIDI input devices and controllers and before launching the Raven Dashboard, you will need to update the window configuration so everything is aligned correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>Go to <strong>File<\/strong>, choose <strong>Import<\/strong>, then select <strong>Session Data.<\/strong><\/li><li>Navigate to <em>Libraries <\/em>&gt; <em>Documents <\/em>&gt; <em>Pro Tools, <\/em>and within the Pro Tools folder, open <em>Session Templates, Raven Templates <\/em>folder, and select the template for the Raven you\u2019re using.<\/li><li>In the window that appears, only check the <em>Windows Configurations <\/em>box. Click <strong>OK <\/strong>to create the controller.<\/li><li>Add another controller, but this time, select <strong>Control Extender<\/strong> in the <em>Mackie <\/em>folder and set the <em>Receive From <\/em>and <em>Send To <\/em>to RAVEN 2.<\/li><li>Create two more Control Extenders the same way, but set them to RAVEN 3 and RAVEN 4, respectively.<ul><li>If you\u2019re using an MTi 2 or legacy Raven, RAVEN 4 cannot be selected.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Go back to the <em>External Devices <\/em>menu, click <strong>Placement<\/strong>, and click and drag the <strong>Control <\/strong>icon, followed by the <strong>Control Extender<\/strong> icons to Group 1.<\/li><li>Exit the Options menu, click <strong>Studio Pro<\/strong>, and choose <strong>Key Commands&#8230;<\/strong><\/li><li>Use the <em>Keyboard mapping scheme <\/em>dropdown and click <strong>Import&#8230;.<\/strong><\/li><li>Select the Fender Studio (Studio One).keyscheme, and click <strong>Open<\/strong>.
