Fender Studio Pro needs to recognize that your MIDI keyboard is connected to your computer before you will be able to use it. Install the latest drivers for your keyboard (if needed) and follow the instructions in the owner\u2019s manual before proceeding. Once your keyboard is set up, you can select it in Studio Pro, and start recording MIDI. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fender Studio Pro MIDI Keyboard Setup<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can manage MIDI connections from the MIDI Device menu within Fender Studio Pro. From there, you can add USB MIDI Controllers, control surfaces, or even devices connected via MIDI cable. Follow the steps below to enable each of your MIDI devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click the Studio Pro<\/strong> menu, click Options<\/strong>, then click External Devices<\/strong>.<\/li>
  2. Click New Keyboard <\/strong>or find your controller under Manufacturer.
    • If the MIDI controller’s vendor or model isn’t listed, you can update the names on the right side of the screen.<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
    • Select your device in Receive From <\/em>and Send To<\/em>, then click OK<\/strong>.<\/li>
    • Open a song, press a key, and check the MIDI Monitor at the bottom left to confirm there\u2019s a response.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
