The Zoom LiveTrak L6<\/a> is a compact digital mixer, a standalone 12-track audio recorder, and an audio interface. You can easily integrate it into your live performance setup; it can even be battery powered. A standout feature is its two channels of 32-bit float AD conversion that lets you record anything from the quietest signals to the loudest with no need to set input gain.     What Is 32-bit Float Audio Recording?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Channels 1 and 2 on the L6 have the ability to capture audio in 32-bit float<\/strong> resolution when used as an audio interface connected to a DAW on your computer or device or when you record directly to the microSD card. These channels have dual, combined analog-to-digital converters configured to enable a wide dynamic range, recording from the quietest sounds to the loudest without the need to set the input gain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    When you open the recorded audio files in a 32-bit-float-compatible DAW on your computer, you can easily adjust the gain to get the audio into the range where you can mix it together with all your tracks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
