If you don\u2019t already have an iLok account, you must create one and install the iLok License Manager app. Follow the steps below to get started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>Visit iLok\u2019s registration page and complete the registration form. Take note of your&nbsp;<strong>User ID&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>password<\/strong>, as they are case sensitive.<\/li><li>Open the&nbsp;<strong>iLok Account Activation&nbsp;<\/strong>email. Click on the verification link.<\/li><li>Download and install the iLok License Manager app.<\/li><li>Launch iLok License Manager. After creating the account, you must link your iLok account so Softube can send you iLok licenses. Once you have an account and you log in, you can enter the License Code on the registration page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>Sign into your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.softube.com\/login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Softube account<\/a>. When daisy-chaining the units together, you\u2019ll have near full control of your DAW, so your keyboard and mouse will rarely need to be used! Just connect the included USB-C to USB-C cable to your Console 1 Mk III using one of the ports, and connect the other end to your computer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Update-Console-1-Fader-Mk-III-Firmware\">Update Console 1 Fader Mk III Firmware<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#f3f2f1\"><strong>TIP: <\/strong>When you\u2019re updating the firmware, it\u2019s recommended that you connect the device to your computer without the power supply connected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Softube will periodically release firmware updates for the Console 1 Fader Mk III. These often introduce new features and address bugs that may be present in the current version. Softube simplifies the firmware process, so you\u2019ll have almost zero downtime operating it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>Launch the Console 1 System application.<\/li><li>Press and hold the <strong>On <\/strong>and <strong>Shift <\/strong>buttons while connecting the device to your computer.<\/li><li>Once it\u2019s powered on, let go of the buttons.
