Follow these instructions to register your kit, then watch the videos below to learn how to redeem your bonus software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>Log in to your&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alesis.com\/account\/signin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Alesis account<\/a>. When you open the packaging, smaller boxes will contain each part (or parts) of the kit. Please take note of the box labels to stay organized along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are a few tips for setting up your Nitro Pro:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Use zip ties or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/store\/search?s=hook+and+loop+cable+tie&amp;Brand=Hosa&amp;Brand=Sweetwater#search-header\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cable ties<\/a> to secure the cable harness to the drum rack. This makes it look cleaner and helps keep things organized.<\/li><li>Set up the drum kit on a carpet or a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/c1197--Drum_Rugs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">drum rug<\/a>. The Bluetooth light will begin to flash.<\/li><li>Open your mobile device\u2019s Bluetooth settings. This includes volume, reverb, and EQ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>To adjust the settings, press&nbsp;<strong>Kit&nbsp;<\/strong>until you see&nbsp;<strong>NUM&nbsp;<\/strong>on the module\u2019s display. Next, use the&nbsp;<strong>+&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>\u2013&nbsp;<\/strong>buttons to choose your kit.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you\u2019ve selected your kit, press&nbsp;<strong>Kit&nbsp;<\/strong>to cycle through the following settings, then use the&nbsp;<strong>+&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>\u2013&nbsp;<\/strong>buttons to adjust their values. Press&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>&nbsp;once you\u2019re happy with the kit\u2019s settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#f3f2f1\"><strong>NOTE:&nbsp;<\/strong>The reverb and EQ will affect both the selected kit and the song (if applicable).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>VOL<\/strong>: Kit\u2019s volume<\/li><li><strong>REV:&nbsp;<\/strong>Reverb<\/li><li><strong>EQH<\/strong>: High-frequency EQ<\/li><li><strong>EQM<\/strong>: Mid-frequency EQ<\/li><li><strong>EQL<\/strong>: Low-frequency EQ<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4>Pad Utility settings<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Some drummers are heavy hitters and others play more lightly, so you should update the Nitro Pro\u2019s pad settings to make it feel as natural as possible. To make changes to the pads, you\u2019ll need to be in the <em>Pad Utility<\/em> settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>Press&nbsp;<strong>Mode<\/strong>&nbsp;so that your kit is in&nbsp;<em>Normal&nbsp;<\/em>mode (indicated by the top LED), then strike the pad you want to adjust.<\/li><li>Press the&nbsp;<strong>Utility&nbsp;<\/strong>button repeatedly to adjust the following settings. Use the <strong>+<\/strong> and <strong>&#8211; <\/strong>buttons to change the value.<ul><li><strong>SEN<\/strong>: Pad sensitivity<\/li><li><strong>THR<\/strong>: Pad threshold<\/li><li><strong>CRO<\/strong>: Pad crosstalk<\/li><li><strong>CUR<\/strong>: Pad velocity curve<\/li><li><strong>R-S<\/strong>: Rim sensitivity<\/li><li><strong>S\u2013S<\/strong>: Hi-hat splash sensitivity. The splash effect is when you tap your foot on the pedal and immediately raise your foot.<\/li><li><strong>LOC<\/strong>: Local mode<ul><li>When Local mode is turned on, it will trigger the internal sound samples. When it\u2019s turned off, playing your Nitro Pro will trigger sounds from a virtual instrument (like BFD) when it\u2019s connected to your computer.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>GM<\/strong>: General MIDI mode<ul><li>When General MIDI mode is set to ON, MIDI channel 10 will use generic MIDI percussion sounds instead of the module\u2019s sounds. When this mode is turned off, MIDI channel 10 in the module will use the internal drum sounds.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Once you\u2019ve adjusted your settings, press&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>.
