Connections differ slightly depending on your application, so check out the different ways to set up your FX2000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Analog-Outboard-Gear\">Analog Outboard Gear<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#f2f1f0\"><strong>TIP: <\/strong>If your mixer has aux buses with one jack for the aux send, you must use <strong>Input 1<\/strong> on the FX2000. In this case, you must choose the mono mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like other analog outboard effects units, you can use it as an effects insert on a channel or bus. You need to connect the channel\/bus output to one of the inputs on the FX2000. Next, use two 1\/4-inch mono cables to connect <strong>Outputs 1+2<\/strong> on the FX2000 to the input\u2019s\/bus\u2019s <strong>L+R <\/strong>inputs. However, if your guitar amp uses a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/insync\/parallel-parallel-port\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">parallel effects loop<\/a> that can allow for adding the effects signal (like an aux bus), you must set it to <strong>Mix External <\/strong>mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have a guitar amp with an FX loop, you can use it as a multi-effects processor. The connection remains the same whether your guitar amp has a series or parallel effects loop. Connect a cable from the <strong>Send <\/strong>of your guitar amp to <strong>Input 1 <\/strong>of the FX2000. In <strong>Mix External<\/strong> mode, the effect\u2019s intensity will always be set to 100%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"How-to-Use-the-Behringer-FX2000\">How to Use the Behringer FX2000<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once everything is set up and connected, it\u2019s time to get started! This article only scratches the surface, as plenty of features are available on Behringer FX2000, so be sure to check out the User Manual to learn more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Select,-Edit,-and-Save-Presets\">Select, Edit, and Save Presets<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Behringer FX2000 boasts 100 high-quality presets that can be fully edited and saved for later recall. Behringer has made selecting, editing, and saving your presets easy, so you can spend more time creating and less time menu diving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>Power on your gear, adjust the levels, then select a preset using the <strong>PRESET <\/strong>knob.<\/li><li>Once you\u2019ve found a preset, press the <strong>EDIT <\/strong>button, then use the four <strong>EDIT <\/strong>knobs to adjust specific parameters.<\/li><li>By default, you will edit parameters <strong>A\u2013D<\/strong>. Press the <strong>EDIT <\/strong>button once more to access parameters <strong>E\u2013H.<\/strong><\/li><li>Once you\u2019re happy with the effect, press the <strong>STORE <\/strong>button, use the primary encoder to select a user location, then press the <strong>STORE <\/strong>button once more to save the preset.<\/li><li>The unit will return to edit mode if you don\u2019t push the <strong>STORE <\/strong>button within five seconds.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"Comparing-a-factory-preset-with-an-edited-preset\">Comparing a factory preset with an edited preset<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>While you\u2019re in <em>Edit <\/em>mode and would like to compare your changes to the original sound, press the <strong>COMPARE <\/strong>button. The <strong>COMPARE <\/strong>LED will begin blinking, and editing functions will be temporarily disabled. Press it once more to return to <em>Edit <\/em>mode.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Factory-Reset\">Factory Reset<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#fff5c7\"><strong>IMPORTANT: <\/strong>Do not power off the unit while performing a factory reset! Doing so may brick the unit, and you will have to send it in for non-warranty repair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There may be a time when you want to start with a blank slate and perform a factory reset of the FX2000. Behringer has made the factory reset process straightforward, too!
