There are three primary sections of the Volca Mix: <em>Power<\/em>, <em>Mixer<\/em>, and<em> Master Chain and I\/O<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Power\">Power<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>One great feature of the Korg Volca Mix is its ability to power all your Volcas. This means you no longer need to rely on batteries, which gives you peace of mind, as you don\u2019t need to worry about them dying in the middle of a set!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just connect the included power cables from the Volca Mix to your Volca products, and you\u2019re all set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Mixer\">Mixer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The <em>Mixer <\/em>of the Volca Mixer is straightforward. Connect your external Volca\u2019s audio output to the Volca Mix using the included 1\/8-inch TRS cable. Please note that input 3\/4 is stereo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/store\/detail\/VolcaFM2--korg-volca-fm-2-synthesizer-with-sequencer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Volca FM<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/store\/detail\/VolcaSample2--korg-volca-sample-2-digital-sample-sequencer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Volca Sample<\/a>, and Volca Sample OK GO Edition are all stereo units.<\/li><li>Use the <em>Send <\/em>knobs to control each channel\u2019s audio level sent to the <strong>Send OUT<\/strong>.<\/li><li>The audio sent to the <strong>Send OUT <\/strong>will be summed to a mono signal before output.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Master-Chain-and-IO\">Master Chain and I\/O<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The <em>Master Chain and I\/O <\/em>section of your Volca Mix is where you make all your sync, input, and output connections and add stereo width, compression, and the compressor\u2019s envelope speed. You can connect external effects processors or synths via the Aux and Send jacks.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"Setup-and-Connections\">Setup and Connections<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that you know how the Korg Volca Mix works, let\u2019s show you how to get set up and connected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>Connect your Volca modules to the Volca Mix using the included power cables.<\/li><li>Connect the Volca module <strong>Audio OUT<\/strong> to the inputs on the Volca Mix.<ul><li>Don\u2019t forget that input 3\/4 is a stereo connection!<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Connect a 1\/8-inch TRS cable from the Volca Mix <strong>Sync OUT <\/strong>to another Volca module\u2019s <strong>Sync IN<\/strong> to sync devices. The external device\u2019s signal will be mixed <em>after <\/em>the Master Chain.<\/li><li>Use the Aux IN to send an external processor\u2019s signal back to the Volca Mix. Press and hold the <strong>PLAY <\/strong>button to access them while powering the device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To switch between parameters, use the <strong>TEMPO <\/strong>knob, and to change the parameter setting, press the <strong>PLAY <\/strong>button. Once changed, change it to <strong>SaV<\/strong>, then press the <strong>PLAY <\/strong>button to save your changes.
