Once created, you\u2019ll download Roland Cloud Manager, where you\u2019ll download and install your expansion pack. Follow the sections below to get started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>Log in to your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rolandcloud.com\/roland-account\/login\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Roland account<\/a>. If you don\u2019t have one, you can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rolandcloud.com\/create\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">create one here<\/a>.<\/li><li>Go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roland.com\/global\/products\/rc_roland_cloud_manager\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Roland Cloud Manager download page<\/a>. Please note that you must be logged in to your account to register your product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>Go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rolandcloud.com\/roland-account\/key\">Registration page<\/a>, then enter the activation key you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer.<\/li><li>Click <strong>Submit<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rolandcloud.com\/roland-account\/key\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1016\" height=\"258\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/sweetcare\/media\/2023\/05\/Enter-activation-key-Roland-V-Piano-Expansion-Activation-Instructions.jpg\" alt=\"Click the image to activate your Roland Software\" class=\"wp-image-1778205\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/sweetcare\/media\/2023\/05\/Enter-activation-key-Roland-V-Piano-Expansion-Activation-Instructions.jpg 1016w, https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/sweetcare\/media\/2023\/05\/Enter-activation-key-Roland-V-Piano-Expansion-Activation-Instructions-300x76.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/sweetcare\/media\/2023\/05\/Enter-activation-key-Roland-V-Piano-Expansion-Activation-Instructions-768x195.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1016px) 100vw, 1016px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Click the image to activate your Fantom n\/zyme Model Expansion<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"Download-and-Install-nzyme-Model-Expansions\">Download and Install n\/zyme Model Expansions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The final step is downloading the expansion from Roland Cloud Manager and installing it onto your Fantom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Format-a-USB-Thumb-Drive\">Format a USB Thumb Drive<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#fff5c7\"><strong>IMPORTANT: <\/strong>All data will be erased when formatting your USB thumb drive, so be sure to back up anything important before moving forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To install the n\/zyme Model Expansion on your Fantom, you must format a USB thumb drive directly from the Fantom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>Connect the USB thumb drive to the <strong>USB MEMORY<\/strong> port on the back of the workstation.<\/li><li>Press <strong>MENU<\/strong>, select <strong>UTILITY<\/strong>, then select<strong> USB MEMORY FORMAT<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Press <strong>OK <\/strong>to complete the format.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Download-and-Install\">Download and Install<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The last step in the process is to download and install the n\/zyme Model Expansion to your Roland Fantom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>Connect the newly formatted USB thumb drive to your computer.<\/li><li>Launch Roland Cloud Manager, click <strong>Hardware Instruments<\/strong>, click <strong>Synthesizers<\/strong>, then select <strong>FANTOM-6\/7\/8<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Click the <strong>Download <\/strong>icon to download the expansion.<\/li><li>Navigate to your <em>Downloads <\/em>folder, open the expansion folder, then copy and paste only the .exzfile to the root directory of your USB thumb drive.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/sweetcare\/articles\/how-to-safely-eject-an-external-hard-drive\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Safely disconnect<\/a> the USB thumb drive from your computer, then connect it to the <strong>USB FOR UPDATE <\/strong>port on the back of the Fantom.<\/li><li>With your Fantom turned off and the USB thumb drive connected, press and hold <strong>TEMPO <\/strong>while turning on the Fantom.<ul><li>The workstation will then launch into <em>Expansion <\/em>mode.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Use the <strong>UP\/DOWN <\/strong>buttons or <strong>[E1]<\/strong> encoder to select EMX007_n_zyme.exz.<\/li><li>Press the <strong>[E6] <\/strong>encoder to install the expansion. Once complete, press the <strong>[E5]<\/strong> encoder.<ul><li>Do not turn off the workstation during the installation process!<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Power cycle the Fantom.
