In this guide, we will show you how to activate, download, and install your new Line 6 Metallurgy software. Follow the sections below to get started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. Download and Install<\/a><\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Register the Software<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The first step in activating your Line 6 Metallurgy software is registering it to your Line 6 account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Log into your Line 6 account<\/a>. You can create an account here<\/a> if you don\u2019t have one yet.<\/li>
    2. Once logged in, click Activations<\/strong>, then select ADD PRODUCT ACTIVATION CODE<\/strong>.<\/li>
    3. Copy and paste the activation code you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer. Click SUBMIT<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Download and Install<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      NOTE: <\/strong>Your computer must be connected to the Internet to activate your software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Once the software is registered to your account, you\u2019ll need to download, install, and activate it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Navigate to the Line 6 software download page<\/a>.<\/li>
      2. Use the -Choose Software- <\/strong>dropdown menu to select the Metallurgy product and the -Choose OS-<\/strong> dropdown menu to select the installer for your OS. Then click Go<\/strong>.<\/li>
      3. Select the latest version of your Metallurgy plug-in. Accept the user terms to begin the download process.<\/li>
      4. Navigate to your Downloads <\/em>folder. Locate and launch the Metallurgy installer file.<\/li>
      5. After the installation is complete, launch your DAW, add the plug-in to an audio track, and enter your Line 6 account credentials when prompted.<\/li>
