However, Windows PC users must download and install ASIO4ALL to get the best results possible. If you want to record audio but the output device has RCA inputs and doesn\u2019t have a USB connection available, this is where you\u2019ll want to use it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>Connect the interface to your computer.<\/li><li>Connect RCA cables from the external device\u2019s RCA OUT to the Behringer U-Control LINE IN.<\/li><li>If you want to use studio monitors, use the U-Control LINE OUT. You can use an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/store\/detail\/TRS202--hosa-trs-202-insert-cable-1-4-inch-trs-to-dual-rca-6-foot\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RCA to TRS Y-cable<\/a> if your monitors don\u2019t have RCA connections.<\/li><li><em>(Optional) Connect headphones to the <\/em>\u215b-inch<em> TRS input.<\/em><\/li><li>If you want to listen to the audio through headphones, ensure the Monitor switch is set to ON. Otherwise, audio will go directly to the RCA LINE OUT.<\/li><li>Launch your recording software, set the U-Control interface as your primary recording and output device, then start recording!<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4>My interface isn\u2019t showing up!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If your interface isn\u2019t showing up as an audio device on your computer, check your cable connection and try a different port. If you\u2019re using a USB hub (specifically passive), reconfigure it so the U-Control is connected directly to the computer. These hubs may not provide enough power to transfer data to and from your system.
