In the case of the Meris LVX, you must use a 9V DC center-negative power supply with at least 300mA of current. Check out our <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/sweetcare\/articles\/guitar-pedal-power-demystified\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Guitar Pedal Power guide<\/a><\/strong> to learn more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Meris LVX connects to any mono or stereo live or studio setup you have. Once plugged into the connections on the unit, connect the mono output to your amp for live settings or connect the stereo outputs to an interface or mixer for studio applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are a few tips when connecting your gear to the Meris LVX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Use the MIDI I\/O jacks to program Control Change parameters (CC). Check out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meris.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/LVX_v1.0.1.a.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LVX manual<\/a> to view the complete list of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meris.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/LVX_v1.0.1.a.pdf#page=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MIDI CC parameters<\/a>.<ul><li>Press the <strong>C3 <\/strong>encoder, then turn the knob clockwise until you reach <em>Globals<\/em> to enable MIDI Thru. This will send all MIDI signal from MIDI In directly to MIDI Out.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Depending on what\u2019s connected, you may need to change the input gain setting within the Global Settings menu.<ul><li>If your guitar signal is clipping, switch the input to Line\/Synth.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>The USB-C port is only used for firmware updates.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\"><a href=\"#\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"button flat s blue\">Return to top<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"Navigate-the-Meris-LVX\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft noUnderline customh2 swheader\">Navigate the Meris LVX<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>From delay and chorus to preamp and overdrive, the Meris LVX delay pedal features tones and effects that are fully editable. In this guide, we\u2019ll only cover the basics and show you how to access global settings, which are critical to the overall behavior of the pedal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the complete list of Global settings, check out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meris.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/LVX_v1.0.1.a.pdf#page=25\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">page 22 of the LVX Manual<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>Press the <strong>C3 <\/strong>encoder to enter <em>Edit Mode<\/em>, then turn it clockwise until you see <em>Global<\/em>.<\/li><li>Turn the <strong>C1 <\/strong>encoder to select an option such as Tempo, Brightness, or Input Level.<\/li><li>Turn the <strong>C2 <\/strong>encoder to change the value.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"How-to-change-the-display-view\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader darkBlueHeader alignLeft underline customh3 swheader\">How to change the display view<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Meris LVX has a unique graphical (bubble) display, allowing you to have a focused approach when editing parameters. You may need to perform a firmware update or a factory reset if you\u2019re running into issues and need to reload the device\u2019s software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Firmware-update\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader darkBlueHeader alignLeft underline customh3 swheader\">Firmware update<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#fff5c7\"><strong>IMPORTANT: <\/strong>Perform a factory reset after the firmware update to be sure your presets are up-to-date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><br><\/strong>Firmware updates are done by connecting the pedal to your computer using a USB-C cable. We recommend using a high-quality, name-brand cable to ensure the firmware update, as off-brand cables are often unreliable and may lose connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>Press and hold the <strong>1<\/strong> and <strong>3<\/strong> footswitches while turning on the pedal. The pedal will enter Firmware Update mode.<\/li><li>Connect the pedal to your computer. It will show up as an external USB storage device.<\/li><li>Go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meris.us\/product\/lvx\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Meris LVX product page<\/a> and download the latest firmware image.<\/li><li>Navigate to your <em>Downloads <\/em>folder, then drag the firmware file onto the LVX storage drive. Once copied over, you will see a loading screen.<\/li><li>Once the firmware has been transferred over, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/sweetcare\/articles\/how-to-safely-eject-an-external-hard-drive\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">safely eject<\/a> the pedal from your computer.<\/li><li>Disconnect and reconnect the power supply to complete the firmware update process.<\/li><li>Perform a factory reset. Meris has made the process very simple to perform a factory reset.
