To use it, you will need to connect its iLok license to your computer with an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/store\/detail\/iLok3--pace-ilok-3rd-generation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">iLok USB <\/a>key. If you don\u2019t already have an iLok account, you\u2019ll need to create one and install the iLok License Manager app. Follow the steps below to get started. If you already have an account, pass these steps and continue to <strong><a href=\"#Redeem-activation-code\">redeem your activation code<\/a><\/strong>. Check out our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/sweetcare\/articles\/ilok-license-manager-tutorial\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">iLok Setup Guide<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilok.com\/#!registration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">iLok registration page<\/a> and complete the registration form. If you don\u2019t have one yet, go to PROCESS.AUDIO\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/process.audio\/en\/partners\/sweetwater\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">account creation page<\/a>, Fill out the necessary information, then click <strong>Register<\/strong>.<\/li><li>PROCESS.AUDIO will then send you an email to activate your account. If it doesn\u2019t show up, be sure to check your spam folder!<ul><li>\u00a0You must activate your account <strong><em>before <\/em><\/strong>redeeming your license code.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Go to PROCESS.AUDIO&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/process.audio\/en\/partners\/sweetwater\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sweetwater Activation Page<\/a>. The process is straightforward. Please note that an internet connection is required if you plan on using the iLok Cloud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"iLok-Cloud\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader darkBlueHeader alignLeft underline customh3 swheader\">iLok Cloud<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You have two options when activating the iLok Cloud.&nbsp;When launching your DAW or via iLok License Manager.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#fff5c7\"><strong>NOTE: <\/strong>While the video below shows Pro Tools activation, the same concept can be applied to <strong>ANY <\/strong>iLok cloud-based license.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"Launch-your-DAW\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft underline customh4 swheader\">Launch your DAW<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Connect your computer to the internet.<\/li><li>Launch your DAW.<\/li><li>When prompted (typically when the DAW is scanning for plug-ins), sign in to your iLok account<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"iLok-License-Manager\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft underline customh4 swheader\">iLok License Manager<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Launch iLok License Manager and sign in.<\/li><li>Click <strong>File<\/strong>, then select <strong>Open Cloud Session<\/strong>.
