If you update the firmware via Wi-Fi and have a spotty connection, you may encounter errors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you first power on the Mixstream Pro, you will receive a notification that the firmware is out-of-date. If that\u2019s the case, you can update the firmware three separate ways: using the Engine Update software, USB flash drive, or Wi-Fi. Follow these steps to check the firmware version.&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>If the firmware is out-of-date, press <strong>Remind Later<\/strong>, <strong>Ignore<\/strong>, or <strong>Update<\/strong> when prompted on the touchscreen.&nbsp;<\/li><li>If you press <strong>Update<\/strong>, press <strong>Yes <\/strong>to begin the update process. The controller will restart and boot into Update Mode.<ul><li>If you press <strong>Remind Later <\/strong>or <strong>Ignore, <\/strong>you can enter Update mode by going to the <strong>About\/Update <\/strong>menu and pressing <strong>Reboot.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"Accessing-the-settings\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft underline customh4 swheader\">Accessing the settings<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To view which firmware version is currently installed on your controller, you will need to enter the <strong>About\/Update <\/strong>menu. To access this menu, swipe down the top of the touchscreen, press <strong>Settings<\/strong>, then press <strong>About\/Update<\/strong>. Alternatively press the <strong>gear <\/strong>button located on the right side of the controller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Engine-Update-software-and-USB-thumb-drive\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader darkBlueHeader alignLeft underline customh3 swheader\">Engine Update software and USB thumb drive<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>Go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/enginedj.com\/downloads\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Engine DJ download page<\/a>. On the right side of the page, you will see <strong>OS<\/strong>. Use the dropdown box to select the Numark Mixstream Pro.<\/li><li>Click the installer for your OS.<ul><li>If you are updating the firmware via USB thumb drive, click <strong>Download for USB adapter<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Connect the Mixstream Pro to your computer.<\/li><li>Navigate to your <em>Downloads <\/em>folder, double-click <strong>Mixstream+Pro+x.x.x+Updater<\/strong>, then click the red <strong>Start Update<\/strong> button.<\/li><li>Once the update has been completed, reboot the device.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"USB-thumb-drive\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader darkBlueHeader alignLeft underline customh3 swheader\">USB thumb drive<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#fff5c7\"><strong>IMPORTANT<\/strong>: The thumb drive will not be recognized if formatted to NTFS, so be sure to format the drive to exFAT or FAT32 beforehand. On the right side of the page, you will see <strong>OS<\/strong>.
