Also, if you save your\ndrum pattern as MIDI format 1, individual drum tracks (e.g., snare, kick,\nhi-hat) will merge into one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"How-to-use-Rhythm-Converter\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft noUnderline customh2 swheader\">How to use Rhythm Converter<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>While the RC-600 already has great <a href=\"https:\/\/static.roland.com\/assets\/media\/pdf\/RC-600_Parameter_eng01_W.pdf#page=45\">drum patterns<\/a>\nbuilt into it, you can also import custom drum patterns. And with the number of\ndrum kits included (like rock, jazz, and even electronic kits), this can take your\nsongs to the next level! This software is only for arranging patterns. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to import custom patterns, then you\u2019ll need to\ncreate and export a MIDI drum track within a DAW. The process is straightforward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Import\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader darkBlueHeader alignLeft underline customh3 swheader\">Import<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Connect the RC-600 to your computer, then launch Rhythm Converter.<\/li><li>Click <strong>File <\/strong>at the top left of the Rhythm Converter application, then select <strong>Open MIDI File<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Navigate to the drum pattern\u2019s file location and click <strong>OK<\/strong>. Your MIDI drum track should now show up in the Variation window.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Arrange\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader darkBlueHeader alignLeft underline customh3 swheader\">Arrange<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once all of your MIDI files are loaded into Rhythm Converter,\nyou can now arrange the song and update the tempo, time signature, and drum kit\npreset. Most of your work will be within the Variation section of the\napplication, where the colored bars are. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The\nvariation is the parts of the pattern (e.g., Verse 1, Chorus, Bridge, Fill).<\/li><li>Each\ncolored bar indicates the number of bars the variation will play. For example, if\nyou see four red bars on a variation, then it will play four times before\nmoving to the next variation. <\/li><li>Click\nand drag the last bar to the left or right to shorten or lengthen the number of\nbars you want the track to play. <ul><li>You\ncan also change the arrangement length by updating the Fromand Barsnumbers.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Hover your mouse over the first bar of the variation\nto change where the variation will begin playing.<\/li><li>Drum\nfills cannot be edited.<\/li><li>Use\nthe <strong>UP <\/strong>and <strong>DOWN <\/strong>arrows on the top left of the application to\nchange the pattern order.<\/li><li>Click\n<strong>DEL <\/strong>to delete the currently selected variation.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Export\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader darkBlueHeader alignLeft underline customh3 swheader\">Export<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After your variations have been edited and patterns are created,\nyou\u2019re now ready to transfer them to your RC-600.
