If you\u2019re a PC user and your computer isn\u2019t connected to the internet, then you\u2019ll also need to manually download and install its latest driver software for the pedal to work correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Go to the RC-600 BOSS Tone Studio download page for <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.boss.info\/global\/support\/by_product\/rc-600\/updates_drivers\/106c2094-0690-4a35-91ee-43c17d9a4f4d\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>PC <\/strong><\/a>or <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.boss.info\/global\/support\/by_product\/rc-600\/updates_drivers\/ac60333d-b2f9-4283-8fb1-d66f4bfeda3f\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Mac<\/strong><\/a>, scroll down, accept the license agreement, then click <strong>Download File<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Go to the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.boss.info\/global\/products\/rc-600\/downloads\/\" target=\"_blank\">RC-600 download page<\/a>, and download the latest version of Rhythm Converter for your OS.<\/li><li>Navigate to your Downloads folder, then extract and launch the BOSS Tone Studio installer.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"PC-users\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft underline customh4 swheader\">PC users<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If your computer isn\u2019t connected to the internet, then you\u2019ll need to install the RC-600 driver software before connecting it to your computer. All you need to do is go to the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.boss.info\/global\/support\/by_product\/rc-600\/updates_drivers\/5d8e2eb3-c50b-489a-9778-c9748c4fe7a5\/\" target=\"_blank\">driver download page<\/a>, agree to the license terms, then click <strong>Download File<\/strong>. Next, go to your Downloads folder, then extract and run the driver software\u2019s installer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"How-to-use-BOSS-Tone-Studio\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft noUnderline customh2 swheader\">How to use BOSS Tone Studio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>BOSS Tone Studio is where you will\nback up and restore data and import and export loops and rhythms. However, to\nuse the software, you\u2019ll need to change the USB mode within the pedal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Press the <strong>MENU <\/strong>button, press the <strong>right arrow <\/strong>button,\nthen use knob 1 to switch the USB mode to Connect.<\/li><li>Connect the pedal to your computer, then launch BOSS\nTone Studio. <\/li><li>The connection is\nsuccessful when you see Editor Modeon the display, and the <strong>Disconnect<\/strong>,\n<strong>Import<\/strong>, and <strong>Export <\/strong>buttons are clickable.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Import-audio\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader darkBlueHeader alignLeft underline customh3 swheader\">Import audio<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>BOSS has provided you with hundreds\nof pre-recorded audio loops from different genres ranging from soul and funk to\ncountry and metal. You can even import custom WAV files, as well! Please note\nthat the files to be imported must be 44.1kHz WAV files\nat 16 bits. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"BOSS-Tone-Studio-audio\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft underline customh4 swheader\">BOSS Tone Studio audio<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Select the sample you want to import, then click <strong>Download<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Select the memory bank and track number you want to send\nthe audio file to, then click <strong>Download<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"Custom-audio\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft underline customh4 swheader\">Custom audio<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Click <strong>Import<\/strong>, navigate to the file location where\nyour custom audio is, then click <strong>Open<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Select the memory bank and track number you want to send\nthe audio file to, then click <strong>Download<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Export-audio\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader darkBlueHeader alignLeft underline customh3 swheader\">Export audio<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you\u2019ve finished recording your\nloops and patterns on your RC-600, you can then export them to your computer.\nThe process is very similar to importing audio to the pedal.
