Follow the sections below to get started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li><a href=\"#Rack-mounting\"><strong>Rack mounting<\/strong><\/a><ul><li><a href=\"#Mounting-a-single-receiver\"><strong>Mounting a single receiver<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"#Mounting-two-receivers\"><strong>Mounting two receivers<\/strong><\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><a href=\"#Making-audio-connections\"><strong>Making audio connections<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"#Scanning-and-syncing-channels\">Scanning and syncing channels<\/a><\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"Rack-mounting\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft noUnderline customh2 swheader\">Rack mounting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sennheiser EW-D\nsystem includes options for mounting a single receiver or two receivers in one\nrack space.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Mounting-a-single-receiver\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader darkBlueHeader alignLeft underline customh3 swheader\">Mounting a single receiver<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Attach both L-shaped brackets to the left and right sides of the receiver with the rack ears facing outward.<\/li><li>Orient the spacer with the threaded holes to match the bracket on either the left or right side. Attach the spacer to the backside of the rack ear using the two included rack screws. <\/li><li>To mount the antennas to the front panel, use the optional AM 2 mounting kit.&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul><li>Remove the locking nut from the panel-mounted connector and pass it through the opening.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Reattach the locking nuts and tighten them.<\/li><li>Connect the BNC connectors to the antenna jacks at the back of the receiver. <\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Mount the receiver in the rack with standard rack screws.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Mounting-two-receivers\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader darkBlueHeader alignLeft underline customh3 swheader\">Mounting two receivers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Place both receivers top down on a flat surface with the screens facing toward you.<\/li><li>Position the mounting plate with the countersink holes facing up, then align the mounting screw holes. Attach all six mounting screws snugly.<\/li><li>Attach one L bracket to each receiver with the rack ears facing outward.<\/li><li>Mount the receivers in the rack with standard rack screws.<\/li><li>Attach the antennas to both receivers.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"Making-audio-connections\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft noUnderline customh2 swheader\">Making audio connections<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We recommend using the XLR outputs direct to the mic inputs on your system for handheld, headset, and lavalier microphones. Optionally, if there is not a mic input available, you can use a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/sweetcare\/articles\/whats-the-difference-between-ts-and-trs-cables\/\">TRS cable<\/a> for a line-level connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To use the Sennheiser\nEvolution Wireless Digital receiver with a guitar setup, connect a standard TS\ninstrument cable from the output directly to the input of your amp or\npedalboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"Scanning-and-syncing-channels\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft noUnderline customh2 swheader\">Scanning and syncing channels<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Setting up the\ntransmitters and receivers is only a few button presses away. Let\u2019s start by\nnavigating to the automatic frequency setup by using the following steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Turn on all previously configured wireless transmitters and receivers.<\/li><li>Press the&nbsp;<strong>SET<\/strong>&nbsp;button on the front panel to see the menu options.<\/li><li>Press the down button until&nbsp;<strong>AUTO SCAN<\/strong>&nbsp;is selected, then press&nbsp;<strong>SET<\/strong>.<\/li><li>The receiver will automatically begin scanning and stop on the best channel selection.<\/li><li>Press the&nbsp;<strong>SET<\/strong>&nbsp;button to confirm the channel.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Syncing the transmitter\nto the receiver is just as simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Press the Sync button on the front panel of the receiver. The Sync message on the screen and the blue DATA light will blink to confirm that the receiver is in sync mode.<\/li><li>Press the Sync button on the transmitter. The LED will blink blue while pairing and will change to solid green when connected.<ul><li>To set up multiple mics, start with all new systems turned off.
