Register the device<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The first thing you need to do when you take your GO TWIN out of the box is register it with TC-Helicon. By registering the device, you\u2019ll receive an additional extended warranty. Follow the instructions in our guide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VOLUME TIP: <\/strong>Make sure that both the Gain and Volume are turned all the way down when you\u2019re connecting everything!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Once registered, it\u2019s time to get set up! The GO TWIN is a class-compliant<\/a> interface that you can use on all OS platforms (Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android), and most devices will power it (bus-powered<\/a>.) While uncommon, if your device doesn\u2019t provide bus power, you can either use AA batteries or a 5v power supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Connect to your PC or Mac<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
- Connect the GO TWIN to your computer with a USB data cable. Then connect your instrument or microphone.
- If you\u2019re using a condenser microphone, set the 48V switch to ON<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
- Launch your DAW, go to its audio settings, and select the GO TWIN as the input and output.<\/li>
- Begin performing and slowly turn the gain up to a point where it won\u2019t clip.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
My GO TWIN isn’t showing up on my computer!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
If your GO TWIN isn\u2019t showing up on your computer, reconnect the interface by unplugging and plugging it back in. If you have not done so yet, try reconfiguring the USB connections so that GO TWIN is connected directly to your computer. Sometimes USB hubs cannot provide enough power for bus-powered devices, especially for hubs without that use a power supply (aka passive hubs). Connect to an iOS or Android device<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
IMPORTANT<\/strong>: You MUST <\/strong>have an audio recording app (such as Go Studio FX, Garageband) <\/em>opened for the GO TWIN to function. If that recording app isn\u2019t running, the device will appear as if it isn\u2019t working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
- (iOS users only) <\/strong>Go to the Apple Store and download the Go Studio FX<\/a> and Guitar Rack<\/a> app.
- You can also download Go Record<\/a> for both Android and iOS.<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
- Connect your instrument or microphone.
- If you\u2019re using a condenser microphone, set the 48V switch to ON<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
- Connect USB to Lightning to an iPhone or other device.<\/li>
- Launch the audio recording app of your choice and set the GO TWIN as the primary input and output device.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
