It can be powered by a computer, two AA batteries, a standard USB AC power supply, and even a USB power bank! One great feature is that when you do use a USB power bank, it will automatically switch to battery power once the power bank is drained.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you do decide to use AA batteries with your Q2n-4K, you\u2019ll need to update options depending on what type of AA batteries you\u2019re using so it can display the correct battery life on the display\u2019s battery indicator.&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-background\" style=\"background-color:#f2f1f0\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Press the <strong>X (cog) <\/strong>button to enter the <em>Settings <\/em>menu.<\/li><li>Press the <strong>AUTO-GAIN <\/strong>button three times, then use the <strong>VIDEO <\/strong>button to select the type of batteries you\u2019re using: Alkaline, Ni-MH, or Lithium&nbsp;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"Format-the-SD-card\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader darkBlueHeader alignLeft underline customh3 swheader\">Format the SD card<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#ffe46e\"><strong>IMPORTANT: <\/strong>Formatting SD cards will erase any current data stored, so be sure to back your files up beforehand.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before you start recording, you\u2019ll need to format the SD card so the Zoom Q2n-4K can recognize it properly and maximize its performance. The Q2n-4K supports micro SD cards with a storage capacity up to 256GB. If your card isn\u2019t recognized, you may have an incompatible card. This will give you plenty of headroom and will decrease the risk of audio clipping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Q2n-4K is a video camera with musicians in mind. With a plethora of video and audio options available, it\u2019s easy to capture perfect recordings every time. All you need to do is press the <strong>RECORD<\/strong> button to start recording, then press it again to stop.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When recording for long periods of time with a microSDHC card, recordings will be split after 4 GB. When using a microSDXC card, recording will continue in one file even if the file size exceeds 4 GB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To make things simple, almost every setting is adjustable with the press of the following buttons.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-background\" style=\"background-color:#f2f1f0\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>VIDEO<\/strong>: Changes the camera resolution. Remember that the higher the quality, the larger the file size.<\/li><li><strong>FOV<\/strong>: Changes the Field Of View. This is similar to a zoom.<\/li><li><strong>SCENE<\/strong>: Changes the camera settings for the location conditions <em>(e.g., club, night, outdoor)<\/em><\/li><li><strong>LO-CUT<\/strong>: Changes low frequency reduction. This is good for wind or background noise.<\/li><li><strong>AUDIO<\/strong>: Changes the audio resolution.<\/li><li><strong>AUTO-GAIN<\/strong>: Maintains a steady audio output level dependent on the option. Depending on the setting you choose, the auto-gain level may make the audio sound compressed or over-processed.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"Use-the-Zoom-Q2n-4K-as-a-webcam\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader darkBlueHeader alignLeft underline customh3 swheader\">Use the Zoom Q2n-4K as a webcam<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not only can the Q2n-4K capture live performances, you can also use it as a webcam which is perfect for remote jam sessions with your friends. Setting it up is straightforward, as well.
