After registering the WAZA-AIR, you\u2019ll get access to Boss product support, an extended warranty, training videos, and clinic information. Follow the steps below to register the Boss WAZA-AIR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Log in to your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boss.info\/backstage\/login?redirect=%2Fmygear\">Roland<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.boss.info\/backstage\/login?redirect=%2Fmygear\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"  (opens in a new tab)\"> <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.boss.info\/backstage\/login?redirect=%2Fmygear\">Backstage account<\/a>. We do recommend fully charging both the WAZA-AIR transmitter and headphones before using it, however. For more information, be sure to check out the <a href=\"https:\/\/static.roland.com\/assets\/media\/pdf\/WAZA-AIR_eng04_W.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">WAZA-AIR manual<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Once everything is charged, connect the transmitter to the \u00bc-inch jack on the headphones.<\/li><li>Wait for the devices to pair. An orange LED will blink on the transmitter while pairing.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Once the orange LED stops blinking, disconnect the transmitter from the headphones, then connect it to your guitar.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"WAZA-AIR-headphones\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader darkBlueHeader alignLeft underline customh3 swheader\">WAZA-AIR headphones<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Don\u2019t pick up your WAZA-AIR as soon as you turn it on. This will ensure that the internal gyro is calibrated correctly and that the sound doesn\u2019t drift.<\/li><li>If the sound does drift, particularly when moving your head up or down, press and hold the WAZA-AIR <strong>Up <\/strong>and <strong>Down<\/strong> buttons at the same time to reset the sound position.<\/li><li>You cannot use the headphones while they are charging.<\/li><li> Be sure to put them on the correct way. The <strong><em>RIGHT <\/em><\/strong>side is where the \u00bc\u201d <em>Transmitter-in <\/em>jack is located.<\/li><li>The<strong> orange LED<\/strong> will be solid when charging and will turn off when charging has finished. If the orange LD is blinking, contact Roland Customer Service.<\/li><li>The <strong>Bluetooth<\/strong> LED is solid when it\u2019s connected. It will <em>blink <\/em>blue when reconnecting and blink rapidly when it\u2019s connecting. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Transmitter\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader darkBlueHeader alignLeft underline customh3 swheader\">Transmitter<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are a few things to note about the transmitter when inserted into a guitar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"Transmitter-power-connected-to-a-guitar\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft underline customh4 swheader\">Transmitter power (connected to a guitar)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Green LED<\/strong>: Adequate power&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Orange LED<\/strong>: Approximately two hours of battery life left<\/li><li><strong>Red LED<\/strong>: Approximately 30 minutes of battery life left, and the transmitter needs to be charged.<\/li><li><strong>Unlit<\/strong>: No battery power left. The transmitter will need to be charged.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"Charging-the-transmitter-connected-to-a-power-adapter\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft underline customh4 swheader\">Charging the transmitter (connected to a power adapter)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Orange LED<\/strong>: Currently charging.<\/li><li><strong>Unlit <\/strong><strong><em>(the green LED will also blink slowly)<\/em><\/strong>:<strong> <\/strong>The transmitter is fully charged.<\/li><li><strong>Solid green LED<\/strong>: Charging has stopped. This happens five hours <strong><em>after <\/em><\/strong>you\u2019ve connected the transmitter, even if it isn\u2019t fully charged. If this is the case, disconnect and reconnect to begin the charging process again.<\/li><li><strong>Blinking red LED: <\/strong>There has been an error while the transmitter has been charging.<ul><li>Boss highly recommends that it be charged in a location that is room temperature <em>(50-85 degrees)<\/em>. If it\u2019s any warmer, it could pose a risk to the internal battery.<\/li><li>If the red LED continues to blink even if it\u2019s at optimal room temperature, please contact Roland Customer Service.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"Do-you-have-a-guitar-with-active-pickups\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft underline customh4 swheader\">Do you have a guitar with active pickups?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Some guitars with active pick ups may produce a thump sound or sound at all. The signal is transmitted via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/insync\/bluetooth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Bluetooth<\/a>. Since the WAZA-AIR device uses Bluetooth, you cannot use it in conjunction with a standard guitar wireless system.
