After registration, you\u2019ll get a free copy of Cubase LE and Retrologue 2, as well as free plug-ins, loops, and more! Follow these steps to register your interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/arc.audient.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Audient Creative Hub<\/a>, fill out your information, then click <strong>Sign Up<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Check for an email from Audient to verify your account. The EVO software allows you to control audio loopback and also lets you update the interface\u2019s firmware.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EVO is class-compliant on Mac, so all you need to do is download the EVO software. Windows users will need to install the Audient EVO driver and EVO software. All drivers and EVO software are included in one file, so no additional downloads are required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Go to your interface\u2019s download page, then select the driver installer for your OS.<ul><li><a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/evo.audio\/products\/evo-4\/downloads\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>EVO 4 Download page<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/evo.audio\/products\/evo-8\/downloads\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>EVO 8 Download page<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/evo.audio\/products\/audio-interfaces\/evo-16\/downloads\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>EVO 16 Download page<\/strong><\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Navigate to your <em>Downloads <\/em>folder and run the installer. Once the download is complete, you will be prompted to reboot your system.<ul><li><strong>Windows<\/strong>: Double-click the .<strong>exe<\/strong> file to begin the installation process.<\/li><li><strong>macOS<\/strong>: Double click the .<strong>pkg<\/strong> to begin the installation process.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\"><a href=\"#\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"button flat s blue\">Return to top<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"Connect-the-EVO-to-your-computer\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft noUnderline customh2 swheader\">Connect the EVO to your computer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that the driver is installed and your computer is rebooted, you can then connect it to your computer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Connect the interface to an available USB port on your computer. <ul><li>We recommend not using USB hubs <em>(passive hubs particularly)<\/em> as they may not provide enough power to connect properly with your DAW.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Once the interface is fully recognized, the green status LED will be lit green.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Connecting-to-an-iOS-device\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader darkBlueHeader alignLeft underline customh3 swheader\">Connecting to an iOS device<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The great thing about the Audient EVO is that it can also be used with any iOS device. <em>(version 6.0 and up)<\/em> Depending on what iOS device you\u2019re using, the setup can be a little different so follow these steps to connect to your iOS device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"iPad-Pro-with-a-USB-C-port\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft underline customh4 swheader\">iPad Pro with a USB-C port<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>For the EVO to work with your iPad Pro with a USB-C port <em>(not Lightning port)<\/em>, all you need to do is connect the EVO to your iPad Pro using a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/store\/search.php?s=usb-c+to+usb-c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">USB-C to USB-C cable<\/a>. For most apps that aren\u2019t DAWs, this is done from Sound Settings (Windows) or Sound Preferences (Mac).&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DAWs like Pro Tools, Cubase, Studio One, etc. have their own sound settings for selecting an audio device. When using your interface with a DAW, make sure to choose your Audient interface from the Playback Engine or Audio Settings window within your DAW. Follow these steps to select the EVO series interface as your computer\u2019s audio playback device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Turn the Volume knob all the way down, then connect your speakers.<\/li><li>If you have headphones connected, turn its volume knob all the way down, as well.<\/li><li>Connect the USB cable from the interface to your computer, then power it on. The USB LED on the interface will light up.<\/li><li>Navigate to your OS sound settings and set it as the default input and output device.<ul><li>PC: Right-click the <strong>Speaker <\/strong>icon on the Windows taskbar, select <strong>Sounds<\/strong>, then click the <strong>Playback <\/strong>tab. Locate and select the interface, click <strong>Set Default<\/strong>, then click <strong>OK <\/strong>to close the menu. Do the same in the <em>Recording <\/em>tab.<\/li><li>Mac: Click the <strong>Apple <\/strong>icon from the Menu Bar and select <strong>System Preferences<\/strong>.
