Click <strong>Download Now<\/strong>.<ul><li>If you\u2019re a PC user and have a Yeti Pro, you must install its driver, <a href=\"https:\/\/support.logi.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/13172804140055-Download-Yeti-Pro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">which can be found here<\/a>.<\/li><li>The Yeti Pro is class-compliant on Mac. When the Yeti is connected to your external analog device, the headphone jack is disabled, so you will need to monitor via the preamp, interface, or mixer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Yeti must be selected as the operating system\u2019s primary audio device to get it to work correctly. For most applications, this will be done from<strong> Sound Settings<\/strong> (<em>Windows<\/em>) or <strong>Sound Preferences<\/strong> (<em>Mac<\/em>). Most streaming and recording software have their own sound settings, so when using the Yeti, you\u2019ll need to make sure that it\u2019s selected as the primary input and output device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means your streaming software or other related audio software needs to know what the computer\u2019s audio device is and which input and output streams are which. Once you\u2019ve connected the Yeti to your computer, follow these steps to update your Windows or macOS sound settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Blue-Yeti-setup-for-Windows-10\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader darkBlueHeader alignLeft underline customh3 swheader\">Blue Yeti setup for Windows 10<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Right-click the speaker icon on the Windows toolbar, then click <strong>Sound<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Click the <strong>Playback <\/strong>tab, right-click <em>\u201c<\/em><strong><em>Speakers <\/em><\/strong><em>BLUE Yeti,\u201d<\/em> then click <strong>Set as Default Playback Device<\/strong>, then select <strong>Set as Default Communication Device.<\/strong><\/li><li>Right-click <em>\u201c<\/em><strong><em>Speakers <\/em><\/strong><em>BLUE Yeti\u201d<\/em> again, select <strong>Properties<\/strong>, and then click on the <strong>Advanced <\/strong>tab.<\/li><li>Uncheck the \u201cAllow applications\u2026\u201d box within the Exclusive Mode section, click <strong>Apply<\/strong>, then click <strong>OK<\/strong>.&nbsp;\n<ul>\n<li>You\u2019ll also need to open the <em>Advanced <\/em>window to change your sample rate when updating your software\u2019s sound settings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Blue-Yeti-setup-for-macOS\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader darkBlueHeader alignLeft underline customh3 swheader\">Blue Yeti setup for macOS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>From the <em>Menu <\/em>bar, click the <strong>Apple <\/strong>icon, then select <strong>System Settings<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Click <strong>Sound<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Under the <em>Input <\/em>and <em>Output <\/em>tabs, choose your Blue Yeti.<\/li><li>You\u2019ll also need to use the <em>Format <\/em>dropdown box to change the sample rate when updating your software\u2019s sound settings.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"Is-your-Blue-Yeti-not-working\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft underline customh4 swheader\">Is your Blue Yeti not working?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If the Yeti isn\u2019t showing up when connecting it to your computer, reconnect the mic by unplugging and plugging it back in. Not only that, but you\u2019ll also need to go into the Yeti Control Panel and update its <em>USB Streaming Mode <\/em>and <em>ASIO Buffer Size, <\/em>so it matches that of your streaming or recording software. Also, be sure to check out our article to learn more about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/insync\/buffers-latency\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Buffer and Latency<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Launch your streaming or recording software and go to its audio settings menu.<\/li><li>Navigate to the <em>Input <\/em>and <em>Output <\/em>section and set your Blue Yeti as the primary input and output device.
