By registering your interface with IK Multimedia, you\u2019ll receive an extended warranty. With just a few connections and a few updates to your mobile device or computer\u2019s audio settings, you\u2019ll be up and running in no time! Follow these steps to set up and connect your iRig Stream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"Before-we-begin\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft underline customh4 swheader\">Before we begin<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are a few important things to know before setting up your equipment, as these can affect the usage of the iRig Stream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The RCA input signal must be at line level.<\/li><li>Most live-streaming apps will not allow playback of copyrighted content.<\/li><li>Some apps require you to start recording video to activate the microphone.<\/li><li>Not all apps offer external audio input for video capture. For example, the Instagram Story feature will not allow external audio devices.<\/li><li>Instagram Live only allows mono signal. Unfortunately, this is not under IK Multimedia\u2019s control. However, posting videos do accept Stereo signals.<\/li><li><strong>iOS and Mac users<\/strong>: The app you\u2019ll be using must be launched on your device before using the iRig Stream, or else you won\u2019t get any sound.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"Connect-iRig-Stream-to-your-iOS-or-Android-device\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader darkBlueHeader alignLeft underline customh3 swheader\">Connect iRig Stream to your iOS or Android device<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Connecting your iRig Stream is just a matter of connecting your gear to the iRig Stream then the iRig Stream to your mobile device.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Connect the Mini-DIN Lightning <em>(iOS) <\/em>or USB-C <em>(Android) <\/em>cable from the iRig Stream to your mobile device.<ul><li>Your mobile device powers the iRig Stream, so no additional battery power is required. It\u2019s class-compliant on Mac, meaning you can connect the iRig and start playing. If you\u2019re using a PC, you\u2019ll need to download the driver software for it to work correctly. Follow these steps to set up and connect your iRig Stream on your computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li> Connect the included USB computer from your iRig Stream to your computer.
