Power up your computer if you haven\u2019t already done so.<\/li><li>Launch the SysEx Librarian. Make sure to set it so that it\u2019s talking to the USB MIDI Interface.<\/li><li>Use the SysEx app to open the file called \u201cMother-32_ERASE_firmware.syx\u201d.<\/li><li>Press Play on the app and watch the Mother-32\u2019s TEMPO LED flash green &amp; red.<\/li><li>Press Play again on the app to transmit the ERASE file a second time.<ul><li>You will see two red blinks and the it will flash green &amp; red again. This means the old firmware is erased and ready for the new firmware.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Use the SysEx app to open the file called \u201cMother 32_Firmware_v2_0_0.syx\u201d.<\/li><li>Press Play on the app and watch the Mother-32\u2019s MIDI LED flash red and the TEMPO LED flash yellow.<\/li><li>When finished, the TEMPO LED will flash a few times and then the Mother-32 will reboot normally.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:5px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"A-note-for-updating-the-Moog-Mother-32-firmware-on-Windows\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft underline customh4 swheader\">A note for updating the Moog Mother-32 firmware on Windows<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re a Windows user and you receive a &#8220;No more memory&#8221; error, you will need to lower the buffer size in MIDI-OX from 256 to 128.
