The JBL Compact Connect app can be downloaded from the <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/jbl-compact-connect\/id1464116044\" target=\"_blank\">App Store<\/a><\/strong> or <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.harman.jbl.eoncompact&amp;hl=en_US\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Google Play Store<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To set up your speaker(s), you should first check for firmware updates. After completing any updates, you can then connect the Bluetooth device to one \u201chost\u201d speaker. Additional speakers are set to \u201cremote\u201d and receive the Bluetooth Broadcast from the host.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"Update-Firmware\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft noUnderline customh2 swheader\">Update Firmware<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Download the <strong>JBL Compact Connect<\/strong> app for your device from either the <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/jbl-compact-connect\/id1464116044\" target=\"_blank\">App Store<\/a><\/strong> or <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.harman.jbl.eoncompact&amp;hl=en_US\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Google Play Store<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li><li>Power on your device and enable both <strong>Bluetooth <\/strong>and<strong> Wi-Fi\/data<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Open the <strong>JBL Compact Connect<\/strong> app and press the <strong>Link<\/strong> icon to connect your EON speaker(s).<ul><li>Give each speaker a unique name and use the <strong>Locate<\/strong> icon to identify each speaker by its flashing lights.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Press your speaker\u2019s <strong>Mixer<\/strong> icon and select the <strong>Firmware<\/strong> tab.<\/li><li>Follow the on-screen instructions to update your speaker <em>(5-10 minutes)<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Once the update completes, touch the <strong>Check for Update<\/strong> icon to confirm no further updates are available.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Repeat these steps to update additional speakers. Reselect BT to continue audio streaming or use an app that plays audio while in the background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Download the <strong>JBL Compact Connect<\/strong> app for your device from either the <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/jbl-compact-connect\/id1464116044\" target=\"_blank\">App Store<\/a><\/strong> or <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.harman.jbl.eoncompact&amp;hl=en_US\" target=\"_blank\">Google Play Store<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>Enable<\/strong> <strong>Bluetooth<\/strong> on your streaming device and press the speaker\u2019s <strong>Bluetooth Pair<\/strong> button until it flashes.<\/li><li>Select <strong>EON ONE Compact<\/strong> from your device\u2019s Bluetooth pairing list. Once paired, the Bluetooth LED will stop flashing and stay lit.<ul><li>Connecting any additional speakers should only be done by pressing the <strong>Link<\/strong> icon on the JBL Compact Connect <strong>Home<\/strong> screen. Connecting any additional speakers should only be done by pressing the <strong>Link<\/strong> icon on the JBL Compact Connect <strong>Home<\/strong> screen.
