You will learn how to back up your current sounds and then load the Factory Restore sounds. Follow each of the sections below to get started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li><a href=\"#Back-up-your-Nord-sounds\"><strong>Back up your Nord Sounds<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"#Update-operating-system\"><strong>Update operating system<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"#Restore-a-Nord-instrument\"><strong>Restore a Nord instrument<\/strong><\/a><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"Back-up-your-Nord-sounds\" style=\"text-align: left; font-size: 240%; font-weight: bold; color: #333333;\">Back up your Nord sounds<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Restoring the factory sounds will delete all sounds currently loaded on your Nord instrument. Use the Nord Sound Manager to create a backup of all your sounds before performing the restoration. Skip this section if you do not want to keep any of your current sounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Go to the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nordkeyboards.com\/downloads\/software-tools\/nord-sound-manager\" target=\"_blank\">Nord Sound Manager page<\/a> and download the latest version for your computer.<ul><li>Windows PC users must also download and install the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nordkeyboards.com\/downloads\/clavia-usb-driver-windows\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Clavia USB driver<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Open your Downloads folder and install the app:<ul><li><strong>PC:<\/strong> Right-click the <em>Nord Sound Manager<\/em> <strong>.zip<\/strong> file, select <strong>Extract all\u2026<\/strong>, and then click <strong>Extract<\/strong>. Double-click the new <em>Nord Sound Manager<\/em> <strong>.exe<\/strong> file and follow the on-screen instructions.&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Mac:<\/strong> Double-click the <em>Nord Sound Manager<\/em> <strong>.dmg<\/strong> file. This will reset all factory settings, including your sounds.
