In this article, we will walk you through the steps needed to get your Garritan software up and running. This process can be broken down into the three steps below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Register your Garritan Products<\/a><\/strong><\/li>
  2. Download and Install Your Software<\/strong><\/a><\/li>
  3. Activate Your Software<\/a><\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    System requirements<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Make sure your computer meets Garritan\u2019s System Requirements<\/strong>. If not, your software may not work like it is supposed to! On the right hand side, select your product<\/a> and then click System Requirements<\/strong> in the same section to view your product\u2019s system requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Register your Garritan Products<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The first thing you need to do is create a Garritan account<\/a> or sign in<\/a> if you’ve already made one. Then, you have to register your software<\/a>. You will need to use the serial number found in the Software Activation Instructions<\/strong> sent by your Sweetwater Sales Engineer. By registering, it confirms your purchase with Garritan and gives you access to your Activation Keycard <\/strong>(we will use this later). Follow the instructions and GIF below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Create an account<\/a> or sign in<\/a>.<\/li>
    2. In the My Software <\/strong>section, click Register more products<\/strong>.<\/li>
    3. Complete the on-screen prompt and click Next<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Complete the prompt above to register your Garritan products.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Download and Install Your Software<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      After registering, you need to download and install your software<\/a>. You\u2019ll also need to install the ARIA Player<\/strong>, a program that allows you to play all your Garritan sample libraries (and any others that are ARIA-compatible) in one universal location. Follow the instructions below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. From the My Software<\/strong> section of your account, download your product’s .zip<\/strong> file.<\/li>
      2. Go to your Downloads <\/em>folder and extract the contents from the .zip<\/strong> file<\/a>.<\/li>
      3. Run the installer, which will install the ARIA Player and your new sample libraries.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Activate Your Software<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        After running the installer file, all you need to do is activate your software using the keycard you obtained after registration. To do this, you will go to Garritan’s Support Page<\/a> and generate a keycard. This will give you a PNG file that you need to drag into the standalone ARIA Player. Follow the instructions below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Go to the Support<\/a> <\/strong>page, click Generate Keycard<\/strong>.<\/li>
        2. Locate your product and select Generate Keycard<\/strong>.<\/li>
        3. In the pop up, right-click the keycard, select Save Image As<\/strong>, and save the keycard PNG file to your desktop.<\/li>
        4. Open ARIA Player and drag the PNG icon onto the standalone ARIA Player.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
