That means to use it, you will need to connect its iLok license to your computer via an iLok USB dongle. If you don\u2019t already have an iLok account, you\u2019ll need to create one and install the iLok License Manager app. Follow the steps below to get started. If you already have an account, pass these steps, and continue to <a href=\"#Register-the-serial-number\"><strong>Register Serial Number<\/strong><\/a>. If it isn\u2019t entered correctly, you will receive an authorization error.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next step in the process is to register the serial number you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer. To register your plug-in, you\u2019ll first need to create an account with Soundtoys. Follow these steps to register the serial number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Log into your <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/accounts.soundtoys.com\" target=\"_blank\">Soundtoys account<\/a>. If you don\u2019t have one yet<a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/acct.soundtoys.com\/acct\/createAccount\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">,<\/a> enter your email address to create an account.<\/li><li>On your account homepage, click the <strong>Dealer Purchases <\/strong>tab, then copy and paste the activation cod you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer.<\/li><li>Click <strong>Submit<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"Are-you-receiving-an-authorization-error\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft underline customh4 swheader\">Are you receiving an authorization error?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p> If there\u2019s a discrepancy between the iLok User ID entered on the authorization form and the one linked to your Soundtoys account, you will receive an error. If this is the case, log into your Soundtoys account, click&nbsp;<strong>Profile<\/strong>, select&nbsp;<strong>Edit Profile and Contact Preferences<\/strong>, and click Update next to your iLok User ID. Alternatively, click the \u201c..I\u201d button (<em>next to the search bar<\/em>) to view the prompt.<\/li><li>Paste the activation code and click&nbsp;<strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"Soundtoys-offline-registration\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft underline customh4 swheader\">Soundtoys offline registration<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p> You cannot perform iLok authorizations offline. You\u2019ll need to connect to the internet to link the serial number to your iLok account. To do this, connect to a computer that is online and transfer it using the instructions above. Once installed, launch your DAW of choice, and the Soundtoys plug-ins will be scanned. If an iLok license is not detected, you will be prompted to transfer a valid license to your iLok or computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>On your account page, download your product to view available downloads.<ul><li>Alternatively, go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/soundtoys-download\/download.html\">Soundtoys product download page<\/a>, select your OS, then locate your plug-in.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Select your operating system, either Mac or Windows, and then click the download link.<\/li><li>Go to your <em>Downloads<\/em> folder and run the installer file:<ul><li><strong>PC<\/strong>: Double-click the .<strong>exe<\/strong> file and follow the on-screen instructions.<\/li><li><strong>Mac<\/strong>: Double-click the .<strong>dmg<\/strong> file.
