The content will be downloaded to whichever location you set.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<ol><li>Go to the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ikmultimedia.com\/products\/productmanager\/\" target=\"_blank\">IK Multimedia Product Manager product page<\/a>, and click on the download for your OS. <\/li><li>After the download is complete, go to your <em>Downloads <\/em>folder and launch the installer.<\/li><li>Log in using your IK Multimedia username and password. The virtual instrument and effects plug-ins will be registered in the <em>Software <\/em>tab of Product Manager, and the sound libraries will be downloaded in the <em>Sounds <\/em>tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#fff5c7\"><strong>IMPORTANT: <\/strong>Products are grouped in families. This means that any add-on for a specific plug-in will be listed in the <em>Products<\/em> tab of that particular plug-in. For example, if you purchased the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/store\/detail\/AmpliTubeMesa--ik-multimedia-amplitube-mesa-boogie-software-suite\">Mesa\/Boogie Software Suite<\/a>, it will show up in the Amplitube <em>Products<\/em> tab. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Launch IK Multimedia Product Manager.<\/li><li>On the homepage, click <strong>Register<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Copy and paste the <em>Serial Number <\/em>you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer into the blank field, then click <strong>Register<\/strong>.<\/li><li>After you register the product, click the <strong>Padlock <em>(Authorize)<\/em><\/strong><em> <\/em>to authorize the plug-in.<ul><li>You can also have the plug-in automatically authorize upon installation of the plug-in.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"Deauthorizing-plug-ins\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft underline customh4 swheader\"> <strong>Deauthorizing software<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can authorize your IK Multimedia software up to <strong>3 <\/strong>different computers at once. Once you have reached the limit and need to authorize a new machine, you will need to deauthorize one. You can have a custom download location for your IK Multimedia plug-ins, but the standard location should suffice.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If by any chance, you\u2019re not sure where the download file path is, or if you want to change the location where your plug-ins are installed, you\u2019ll want to go into the IK Multimedia Product Manager <em>Preferences<\/em> menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#fff5c7\"><strong>IMPORTANT NOTE FOR MAC USERS: <\/strong>Before installing your IK Multimedia plug-in, you must change the download path, as the default download path does not exist. To change the plug-in path, click the Gear icon, click BROWSE, then change the path to your <em>Downloads <\/em>folder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Follow these steps to download your IK Multimedia plug-in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Click the <strong>Install <\/strong>button located next to your plug-in.<\/li><li>Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"Important-note-for-Windows-10-users\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft underline customh4 swheader\">Important note for Windows 10 users<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p> If you receive the following error: &#8220;<strong><em>(your product) <\/em><\/strong>NOT installed code :undefined&#8221;, you\u2019ll need to add the IK Multimedia Product Manager <strong>folder <\/strong>to the Windows Security exclusion list. The default location for the Product Manager folder is C:\\Users\\Audio\\Documents\\IK Multimedia. Check out Microsoft\u2019s article on <a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/help\/4028485\/windows-10-add-an-exclusion-to-windows-security\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">how to add an exclusion to the Windows Security list.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"Download-and-install-virtual-instrument-libraries\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader darkBlueHeader alignLeft underline customh3 swheader\">Download and install virtual instrument libraries<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019ve purchased a virtual instrument that uses sound libraries, such as Miroslav Philharmonik or SampleTank, the final step is to download the sound libraries. When installing your IK Multimedia software, you\u2019ll need to make sure you have the required space necessary. For example, the <a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/store\/detail\/Miroslav2CE--ik-multimedia-miroslav-philharmonik-2-ce-orchestral-software-instrument-download\" target=\"_blank\">Miroslav Philharmonik 2 virtual instrument<\/a> requires <em>at least <\/em>58GB of free hard drive space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<ol><li>Click the <strong>Sounds <\/strong>tab to access the library downloads.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Click <strong>Install <\/strong>to begin the download process.&nbsp;<ul><li>The download process takes time, so be sure not to close out the Product Manager. <\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>After the download is complete, go to your <em>Downloads <\/em>folder and extract the <strong>.zip <\/strong>file.<\/li><li>Open the <em>Sounds Content <\/em>folder, then run the Sound Content installer.&nbsp;<ul><li>During the installation process, you\u2019ll be prompted to choose a location where the libraries will be installed.
