In order to redeem your product, you first need to create an account with Propellerhead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Log in to your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reasonstudios.com\/account\/login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Propellerhead account<\/a>. You also must download the Codemeter software, which will activate your computer if it&#8217;s offline. Follow these steps to download and install the software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Navigate to the <strong>My Products <\/strong>section on your account page, and click <strong>Download<\/strong>. <\/li><li>Once complete navigate to your <em>Downloads <\/em>folder, run the installer, and follow the on-screen instructions.<ul><li><strong>PC: <\/strong>Right-click the <strong>.zip <\/strong>file, select <strong>Extract all&#8230;<\/strong>, and then click <strong>Extract<\/strong>. Double-click the <strong>.exe <\/strong>file and follow the on-screen instructions. <\/li><li><strong>Mac<\/strong>: Double-click the installer file, and then drag the <em>Reason 10 <\/em>folder to your <em>Applications<\/em> folder.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Download and then install <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propellerheads.com\/download-codemeter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Codemeter<\/a>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"Where-are-the-soundbanks-located\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft noUnderline customh4 swheader\">Where are the soundbanks located?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If you purchased the full version of Reason 10, you will be prompted to set the location of the soundbanks during the installation process. By default, the soundbank folder location is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>PC: <\/strong>C:\\ProgramData\\Propellerhead Software\\Soundbanks<\/li><li><strong>Mac<\/strong>: Library\/Application Support\/Propellerhead Software\/Soundbanks<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"Authorize-the-software\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft noUnderline customh2 swheader\">Authorize the software<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The final step in the process is to authorize Reason. You will need to log in to your Reason account upon launching the software to complete the authorization process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Launch the Reason software, and then enter your account credentials when prompted.<\/li><li>Click the <strong>Authorize Computers and Keys <\/strong>link in the window that appears, and then click the <strong>Authorize<\/strong> button next to your preferred license location.<ul><li>The next time you launch Reason, it will run in <em>Authorized mode <\/em>and you will not need to log in to your account each time you launch.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"Activating-multi-seat-licenses\" class=\"wp-block-cgb-block-customheader blackHeader alignLeft noUnderline customh4 swheader\">Activating multi-seat licenses<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Multi-licenses allow you to run Reason on multiple computers that are all connected over a <strong>LAN<\/strong> <em>(Local Area Network)<\/em>. Multi-license users can follow the instructions above to register, download, and install Reason.
