In some situations it may be necessary to remove Native Instruments software and drivers from your computer. The Programs and Features <\/strong>utilityin Windows can be used to uninstall programs or to change the program’s configuration by adding or removing certain items.<\/p>\n

This article will explain how to completely uninstall any Native Instruments software using this utility. The procedure for uninstalling a NI product belonging to a bundle (eg. KOMPLETE)\u00a0requires additional steps which are explained in the second part of this article.<\/p>\n

Uninstalling a Single NI Product<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Right-click the bottom left-hand corner of your Desktop and choose Programs and Features<\/strong> from the appearing menu.<\/li>\n
  2. In the Programs and Features window, select the program you want to remove and click Uninstall<\/strong>. In the example below, we want to uninstall Native Instruments Kontakt 5<\/strong> from our system.\u00a0If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  3. In the Maintenance Setup<\/strong>\u00a0window, select Uninstall<\/strong> and then press Next<\/strong> to proceed.

  4. Once the uninstallation process is completed, click on the Finish<\/strong> button to close the window.

    Uninstalling a NI\u00a0Product Belonging to a KOMPLETE Bundle<\/h2>\n
      \n
    1. If you want to uninstall a product belonging to a KOMPLETE bundle do NOT select the individual program uninstallers (eg. MASSIVE or KONTAKT) listed in Programs and Features<\/strong> window. Instead, select the bundle entry (e.g Komplete 9 Ultimate<\/strong>) and click Uninstall<\/strong>.

    2. A new window will open. Check the Uninstall<\/strong> box and click Next<\/strong> again.
      \n\"Uninstall<\/li>\n
    3. Check the box next to the product you wish to uninstall and then click Next<\/strong>\u00a0to proceed. In this example, we are going to uninstall\u00a0Massive<\/strong>.

    4. To confirm and start the uninstallation process click Next<\/strong>.
      \n\"Complete<\/li>\n
    5. The selected program will now be uninstalled from your computer. When this is complete, click Finish<\/strong> to close the window.
