This occurs because GarageBand<\/strong> has a separate folder where the Presets are located.<\/p>\n

To get the presets to appear in GarageBand, try the following steps:<\/h5>\n

1. Quit GarageBand, AmpliTube, and all other applications.<\/p>\n

2. Go to this directory on your Mac and make sure all your presets show up:
\nMac HD > Users > (your user name) > Documents > IK Multimedia > AmpliTube 4<\/strong><\/p>\n

Leave this window open. Click on the “AmpliTube 4” folder to select it, click on Edit, and click Copy.<\/p>\n

3. Click on the File menu again, and click on New Finder Window.<\/p>\n

4. With this new window open, Option+Click on the\u00a0 Go menu at the top of your screen and\u00a0 drag down to Library.<\/p>\n

Note<\/strong>:\u00a0If you release the Option key, the Library option will disappear.<\/em><\/p>\n

5. Open the following path inside the Library folder: Containers\/Com.apple.Garageband\/Data\/Documents\/IK Multimedia. Drag the Amplitube 4<\/strong> folder to the trash.<\/p>\n

6. In this “IK Multimedia” folder, click on the Edit menu and click Paste. This should paste the “AmpliTube 4” folder that you copied. Check to make sure that all the Presets appear here.<\/p>\n

7. Open GarageBand and load AmpliTube 4. You should now see the Presets available from the upper-left menu.<\/p>\n
