If your Artist controllers aren’t automatically connecting to EuControl, try the following troubleshoots:<\/p>\n

Delete EUCON preferences:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Go to ~\/Library\/Preferences.<\/li>\n
  2. Delete the following files:\n
      \n
    • com.euphonix.eucon.plist<\/li>\n
    • com.euphonix.eucon.plist.lockfile (Lion only)<\/li>\n
    • com.Euphonix.EuControl.plist<\/li>\n
    • com.Euphonix.EuControl.plist.lockfile (Lion only)<\/li>\n
    • Euphonix (this will be a folder)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Go to \/Library\/Preferences.<\/li>\n
    • Delete the following files:\n
        \n
      • com.euphonix.EuConSystem.plist<\/li>\n
      • com.euphonix.EuConSystem.plist.lockfile (Lion only)<\/li>\n
      • com.euphonix.install.EuControl.plist<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Empty the trash.\n
          \n
        • If you are on Lion, you will need to do a Secure Empty Trash from the Finder menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • Quit and relaunch EuControl.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          \u00a0If you are using AirPort\/Wi-Fi for wireless internet:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
            \n
          1. Open System Preferences and click Network.<\/li>\n
          2. Click on the Settings icon that looks like a pinwheel.<\/li>\n
          3. Choose Set Service Order…<\/li>\n
          4. Drag AirPort\/Wi-Fi to the top of the list.<\/li>\n
          5. Click OK and then Apply.<\/li>\n
          6. Restart the computer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Create a new user account:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
              \n
            1. Open System Preferences.<\/li>\n
            2. Click on the ‘Users & Groups’ preference.<\/li>\n
            3. Click the Lock to authenticate and enter your password.<\/li>\n
            4. Click the ‘+’ under the list of users.<\/li>\n
            5. Set the ‘New Account’ type to ‘Administrator’.<\/li>\n
            6. Give this new user any name and password that you want.<\/li>\n
            7. Click ‘Create Account’.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Then login to this new account and run Pro Tools.<\/p>\n

                \n
              1. Go to the Apple menu and choose ‘Log Out (Username)’.<\/li>\n
              2. Wait for the login screen and then login in as the new user.<\/li>\n
              3. Launch Pro Tools.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                Reset PRAM:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
                  \n
                1. Restart your computer.<\/li>\n
                2. Once the screen goes black, hold down the following keys:\n
                    \n
                  • Control + Option + P + R<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                  • Continue to hold the keys until you hear the startup chime for the second time, then release the keys.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    Fix Lion Preferences (Lion only):<\/strong><\/h3>\n
                      \n
                    1. Go to \/Library.<\/li>\n
                    2. Right-click on Preferences and choose Get Info.<\/li>\n
                    3. Click the lock on the bottom-right corner.<\/li>\n
                    4. Enter your user password.<\/li>\n
                    5. Change the permissions for Everyone from Read to Read & Write.<\/li>\n
                    6.
