You can calibrate the pedals connected to the DAMPER, PEDAL 1 and PEDAL 2 connectors in the back panel. By calibrating a pedal, you let the SV-1 understand its polarity and the full range of values sent.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Connect all pedals to be calibrated to the SV-1. Remember that DAMPER expects the included Korg DS-2H damper pedal, PEDAL 1 expect a foots- witch-type pedal, and PEDAL 2 can be used to connect either a footswitch or expression-type pedal.<\/li>\n
  2. Set any expression-type pedal to its lowest setting.<\/li>\n
  3. Turn the SV-1 off.<\/li>\n
  4. Keep the AUTO\/PEDAL button pressed, and turn the SV-1 on.<\/li>\n
  5. When the AUTO\/PEDAL LED starts to flash, release the button.\n

    If you do nothing in the next few seconds, the AUTO\/PEDAL LED will turn off, and the SV-1 will complete the start-up sequence.<\/li>\n

  6. While the AUTO\/PEDAL LED is flashing, press the button again. SV-1 enters calibration mode.<\/li>\n
  7. Now calibrate PEDAL 1 (a footswitch). Completely depress the pedal, then release it. When you have finished calibrating the pedal connected to the PEDAL 1 jack, FAVORITE button #1 will turn on.<\/li>\n
  8. Then, calibrate PEDAL 2. The procedure is different, depending on the use of a footswitch or an expression pedal:\n

    \u2022 If you connected a footswitch, completely depress it, then release it.<\/p>\n

    \u2022 If you connected an expression pedal, push it all the way forward to its max- imum position, then return the pedal to its minimum or lowest position.<\/p>\n

    When you have finished calibrating the pedal connected to the PEDAL 2 jack, FAVORITE button #2 will turn on.<\/li>\n

  9. Finally calibrate the DAMPER pedal. Completely depress the pedal, then release it. When you have finished calibrating the pedal connected to the DAMPER jack, FAVORITE button #3 will turn on.<\/li>\n
  10. When finished calibrating:
    \n\u2022 If you calibrated all three pedals connected, SV-1 automatically exits cali-<\/p>\n

    bration mode and continue the start-up sequence.<\/p>\n

    \u2022 If you calibrated only one or two pedals, press the AUTO\/PEDAL button again to exit calibration mode and continue the start-up sequence.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","categories":[1],"tags":[70343,55942,54060,84391,54246,58630,53999,57699,72622,84390,84389],"storecat":[],"itemids":[14754,31062,31063],"manufacturers":[33480],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\t\n
