The following is from Roland’s knowledge base:<\/p>\n

It has been found that on computers running Windows Vista and Windows 7 on which the\u00a0“KB2918614<\/strong>” and “KB3000988<\/strong>” update to Windows has been applied, the message “Data error (cyclic redundancy check)” is displayed and installation is impossible.<\/p>\n

\nInstallation can be enabled by taking the following corrective action.
\nNote: Uninstalling the Windows update might result in problems. Uninstalling is to be carried out at the customer’s risk.<\/p>\n

  1. Click on the Windows icon on the bottom left of the screen.<\/li>\n
  2. Click on Control Panel.<\/li>\n
  3. Change the Control Panel view:\n
      \n
    1. Windows Vista<\/span>: Change to “Classic View” and select the “Programs and Features” item.<\/li>\n
    2. Windows 7 or later<\/span>:\u00a0Change the view to “Small icons” and select the “Programs and Features” item.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    3. Click the “View installed updates” item.<\/li>\n
    4. From the list of installed Windows updates, select the\u00a0“KB2918614<\/strong>” and “KB3000988<\/strong>” item.<\/li>\n
    5. Choose “Uninstall” to uninstall.<\/li>\n
    6. Restart the computer.<\/li>\n
    7. Install R-MIX.<\/li>\n
    8. Run Windows Update and reinstall “KB2918614<\/strong>” and “KB3000988.<\/strong>“<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","categories":[1],"tags":[37915,54817,80700,80699,54235,34750],"storecat":[],"itemids":[12132],"manufacturers":[33684],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\t\n
