{"id":1723054,"date":"2014-05-01T13:11:01","date_gmt":"2014-05-01T13:11:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/sweetcare\/?post_type=articles&#038;p=1723054"},"modified":"2019-11-14T16:53:23","modified_gmt":"2019-11-14T16:53:23","slug":"my-gopro-hero3-wont-power-on","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/sweetcare\/articles\/my-gopro-hero3-wont-power-on\/","title":{"rendered":"My GoPro Hero3+ won&#8217;t power on."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If your camera is not powering on, there could be a fault with the camera, battery, SD card, or there could be a loose connection somewhere. &nbsp;We have some tips for you to try that should clear up the issue for you.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Remove any BacPac accessories, the battery, and SD card from the camera. &nbsp;Reinsert the battery only and press the <strong>power button<\/strong>. &nbsp;If the camera powers on, your camera was frozen and you should be good to go now.<\/li>\n<li>Format the SD card on either your computer, <em>instructions on how to do this can be found below.&nbsp;<\/em><strong>Note<\/strong><em>: <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">This will<\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> rem<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">ove<\/span><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> all recorded content on the SD card<\/span>. &nbsp;If you want the files on the card, make sure that you first save them to&nbsp;your computer. &nbsp;Once the SD card has been formatted, reinsert it into the camera and try to power it on.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gopro.com\/help\/articles\/Solutions_Troubleshooting\/SD-Card-Reformat-on-a-Mac-Computer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SD Card Reformat on a Mac Computer<\/a>&nbsp;
