The Loop Level knob on your Ditto Looper X2 has the ability to control two different sources: the “current loop” and the backing track. The current loop is what is stored when you record via the Loop switch. The backing track is what is stored in the secondary memory bank when you push up on the Store switch or when you import a loop from your computer.<\/p>\n
On it’s own, the Loop Level knob will control any stored audio when you press the Loop switch to initiate playback. This includes anything that is stored as a backing track. In other words, it will act as a master level control.<\/p>\n
When you hold the Store\/Backing Track Level switch in the down position, the Loop Level knob controls only <\/i>the level of the backing track. You may notice that when you hold the Store\/Backing Track Level switch down, the level of the backing track will jump either up or down. This is because it is jumping to the current position of the Loop Level knob. This is normal.
