{"id":1720047,"date":"2013-08-22T15:15:11","date_gmt":"2013-08-22T15:15:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/sweetcare\/?post_type=articles&#038;p=1720047"},"modified":"2013-08-22T15:15:11","modified_gmt":"2013-08-22T15:15:11","slug":"how-do-i-find-my-sibelius-7-1-system-id-and-activation-id","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/www.sweetwater.com\/sweetcare\/articles\/how-do-i-find-my-sibelius-7-1-system-id-and-activation-id\/","title":{"rendered":"How do I find my Sibelius 7.1 System ID and Activation ID?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>For new copies of Sibelius 7<\/b>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you purchased a boxed copy, your System ID and Activation ID will be printed on an activation card in the box.<\/li>\n<li>If you purchased a crossgrade or academic version, your System and Activation IDs will be emailed to you upon successful verification of your crossgrade or academic status.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>If you&#8217;re upgrading from Sibelius 6 (or earlier) to 7.1<\/b>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can find your System and Activation IDs in the Your Products page when you sign into your account at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.avid.com\/US\/Account\/orientation?ReturnUrl=%2fUS%2faccount%2faccountinfo\" target=\"_blank\">avid.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Updating from Sibelius 7.0<\/b>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your new System and Activation IDs can be found by entering your original serial number at this link:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sibelius.com\/helpcenter\/updates\/sib7_1_0.html\">http:\/\/www.sibelius.com\/helpcenter\/updates\/sib7_1_0.html<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Updating from Sibelius 7.1 or Sibelius First 7.1.1<\/b>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can find the IDs by running Avid License Control. To do so, follow these steps:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<ol>\n<li>In Sibelius, go to File &gt; Help and click Deactivate.<\/li>\n<li>On windows, go to the Start menu &gt; All Programs &gt; Avid &gt; Avid Utilities to find the Avid License Control.<\/li>\n<li>On Mac, go to Applications &gt; Utilities &gt; Avid Utilities &gt; License Control to find the Avid License Control.<\/li>\n<li>Once Avid License Control is open, click on the License Profile tab.
